Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Leafee, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.

Description of Service

Leafee is a mobile application that helps you identify, care for, and track your plants. The app provides:

  • Plant identification through photo scanning
  • Personalized care recommendations
  • Reminders for watering, fertilizing, and maintenance
  • Plant tracking and growth history

Account Registration

Some features of Leafee require you to create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain and update your account information
  • Keep your account credentials secure
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

Subscription and Payments

Leafee offers both free and premium subscription options:

  • Free Version: Limited features and plant identifications
  • Premium Subscription: Unlimited plant identifications and full access to all features

Subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat and processed via the App Store or Google Play. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to:

  • Pay the subscription fee as displayed
  • Automatic renewal unless cancelled
  • App Store/Google Play terms and conditions

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device’s subscription settings.

User Content

You retain ownership of any photos or content you upload to Leafee. By uploading content, you grant us a license to:

  • Store and process your content to provide the service
  • Use your content to improve plant identification accuracy
  • Display your content within the app

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Leafee for any illegal purpose
  • Upload malicious code or attempt to harm the service
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Leafee are owned by PlantBuddy, Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Leafee is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

  • The accuracy of plant identifications
  • Uninterrupted or error-free service
  • That the app will meet your specific requirements

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlantBuddy, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Leafee.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Leafee at any time, with or without cause or notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of Leafee after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
